2 Day Workshop - Thursday 9th & Friday 10th July

These toadstools are inspired by the many varieties that Alison saw in a forest on the way to Paris in 2010. This project is a mixed media / Goldwork piece that uses a variety of Goldwork threads – both English and sadi – alongside a variety of fabrics for manipulation.  Traditional     Goldwork methods are  employed such as brick stitch, applying kid and laying purl along with distressing and melting fabrics – something for everyone!  The design is 19 cm x 10 cm (and almost 2.5 cm in relief)
