Miniscule by Catherine Howell

Catherine is constantly fascinated by the bustling of insects going about their daily activities. She has  recreated a large scale scene of a small section of grass with bees, ladybirds and a spider worked in three dimensional embroidery.  Creating this project you will create stumpwork bees, sculptured ladybirds and beaded spider amongst fused silk organza leaves, with ribbon embroidered and thread painted grasses, three dimensional clover and daisy flowers set against one of her signature print     backgrounds. The design size is 21cm x 28cm
