"Coffee with William Morris" Pattern

Michele designed this quilt over a cup of coffee on Christmas Day 2002. The quilt includes elements from the coffee cup which was inspired by the "Rose" design of William Morris c.1883.  It is recordered that Morris was influenced by a 16th century Venetian silk and gold brocade when he was designing "Rose". The completed design measures 54" x 68", 138cm x 172cm. Whilst Michele uses machine applique you can choose your preferred method.
