Antique China Teacups with Lesley Turpin-Delport

2 Day Workshop - Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July

These antique China cups are inspired by beautiful tea cups designed between 1813 and 1825. We have two Spode tea cups, one Yates and one Machin. The designs are delightful and a transparent method of transfer of the cups will be taught. Students may wish to join this workshop for 2 or 4 days. The image will then be placed on a different background and the choice of colours and stitches will be appropriate to the images seen on the cups. Each cup is approximately 5cm x 9cm. Once the design is complete it can be made up into a cushion, framed as a picture or as a tray.

Should you wish to complete the 4 day workshop please also book into workshop number 33. on Monday and Tuesday. The kit will only be charged once as it contains the 4 teacups.

If you wish to complete your design with all 4 teacups on the same piece of fabric please advise when booking. With reference to  the illustration shown, the top left and bottom right hand teacup are the ones being taught on the Saturday & Sunday.
